Everett is a city located in Snohomish County, Washington. As of the 2000 census the city had a total population of 91,488, making it the 6th largest in the state. As of April 1, 2006 the city was home to 101,100. It is the county seat of Snohomish County and the western terminus of the western segment of U.S. Highway 2. It is also home to Boeing's assembly plant for the 747, 767, 787, and 777 in the largest building in the world by volume at 13.3 million cubic meters. On January 8, 1997 the United States Navy homeport welcomed the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
